Alabama A&M at UAB

In week 3 the Alabama A&M Bulldogs travel (1-1 overall) to Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama to face the UAB Blazers (1-1 overall) Saturday.

Alabama A&M beat Tuskegee last week 30-17. The Bulldogs were led by quarterback Jaymason Lee with 284 passing yards and 2 TDs. In addition, Bryan Brower led the rushing attack with 61 rushing yards and 2 TDs. Montauius Smith led the wide receivers with 5 receptions for 119 yards and 1 TD.

UAB lost to Mississippi State 47-34 last week. UAB was led by Jeremiah Briscoe and Cody Clements who split time at quarterback and combined for 398 yards and 3 TDs. In addition, Jordan Howard led the rushing attack with 89 yards and 1 TD on 24 carries.

UAB’s defense allowed 516 yards and 47 points last week. However, they did having 1 interception.

Keys to Alabama A&M win

The Bulldogs will need quarterback Jaymason Lee to play a great game and not turn the ball over. In addition, Bryan Brower needs to have another great game. The Bulldogs defense needs to play great and force turnovers.

Keys to UAB win

The Blazers need quarterbacks Jeremiah Briscoe and Cody Clements to play well and not turn the ball over. In addition, Jordan Howard needs to have a great game as well. The Blazers defense needs to play much better than last week and forced some turnovers.
