on

NavyThe Navy Midshipmen are set to travel to Bobcat Stadium to take on the Texas State Bobcats in a contest that sees the Midshipmen searching for their 2nd win in 3 games on their year, while the Bobcats are looking for their 2nd win in 2 games played.

Navy comes into this week having earned a victory last week over the Temple Owls by a score of 31-24, giving them their 1st win on the season after losing their opener against Ohio State. The Bobcats are coming into this week, also coming off of a victory, in decisive fashion over the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions by the score of 65-0.

Navy is coming into this week looking to get their 2nd win of the season, looking to pick up their 1st win on the road this season. If the Midshipmen are going to get the win this week, they will need to bring a strong defense and a high powered offense into Bobcat stadium if they hope to beat the Bobcats on the road and earn their 2nd win.

The Bobcats are coming into this week having simply demolished their opponents last week in virtually every fashion, blowing them out and shutting them out in their opening game. The Bobcats will have to face some much stiffer competition this week against the Mudshipmen, a team tat gave the Ohio State Buckeyes a serious run for their money in the 1st game of the season.

The Midshipmen are looking to come into this week and earn their 2nd win as they, at the minimum, want to prove that they are at least the best football team among the Service Academies. The Midshipmen are an extreme threat to the Bobcats and will able to beat them on the road, 35-20.
