Jake Livermore also played the full game for Derby County against Middlesbrough but did little to help the Rams as they slid to a 2-0 defeat at The Riverside.
Adel Taarabt continued his excellent form from the weekend, when he scored a wonder-strike for QPR against Preston.
He played 76 minutes in QPR's comprehensive victory against Reading at Loftus Road. He failed to get on the scoresheet but he did trouble Royals keeper Adam Federici with a ferocious turn and shot in the first half, forcing a fine save from the stick man.
