Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric feels Spurs should have secured their place in the FA Cup fifth round without the need for a replay.
Jermaine Beckford's penalty earned League One side Leeds United a replay after they drew 2-2 with Spurs at White Hart Lane on Saturday evening.
"We're all disappointed," said Luka. "We had the game in our hands but Leeds managed to score in the last minute.
"We all knew that Leeds are a good team and it was going to be tough, they beat Manchester United at Old Trafford, after all, but we deserved the win.
"We didn't take our chances and in the end we conceded a bit of an unlucky goal. I'm not sure if it was a penalty or not, but it was given and we need to quickly move on because we have another big game against Fulham on Tuesday."
Out of favour Russian striker Roman Pavyluchenko got himself on the scoresheet in a hard fought tie.
Luka was the first to congratulate his team mate. "Yes, I was pleased for him. Pav's a great player and a great lad and it was an excellent goal. It was a good moment for him." He said.
The replay will be played at Elland Road on Wednesday, February 3 with the prize of a trip to Bolton in the fifth round on February 13/14.
But first Spurs must take on Fulham at White Hart Lane tomorrow evening, kick off 8pm.
