CARLING CUP - TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v EVERTON
SPURS LOAN STARS: HOW THEY FARED THIS WEEK
ComeOnSpurs.com, 28 Oct 2009
Adel Taarabt was once again the star for QPR as he kickstarted Rangers' revival. They were 2-0 down at Pride Park but his 30 yard curling free-kick started a comeback that led to a 4-2 win at Pride Park.
Taarbat was also involved in the build-up to the second goal before capping an excellent 75-minute long performance by making Steven Bywater produce a stunning save.
QPR have won three games in succession now, all by scoring four goals.
Jack Livermore faced his Spurs colleague when he came on for Derby in the 62nd minute. Obviously it wasn't as good a day for him as it was for Taarabt.

Danny Rose played the last 11 minutes of Peterborough United's home success against Scunthorpe United. He affected the play well as Posh won 3-0 to claw themselves out of the relegation zone.
Kyle Walker had a mare for Sheffield United as they lost by the odd goal in seven against Cardiff City. The Bluebirds' opener was scored after a Chris Morgan clearance unfortutiously deflected off Walker and into the path of Jay Bothroyd, who made no mistake.
In injury time, at the other end, Walker's shot was parried out by Cardiff keeper David Marshall but Stephen Quinn's rebound was denied because he was offside.
Jamie O'Hara played the full match for Portsmouth in a dire encounter at Hull. He was involved in the best moment of the game though when his free-kick fell to Aruna Dinedane. His shot was saved.
Jonathan Obika scored for Yeovil two minutes after he was introducted to the game. He rose highest to nod Andy Welsh's free-kick past the Bristol Rovers keeper. Ryan Mason and Steven Caulker played the full match.
Oscar Jansson and Troy Archibald-Henville were both unused substitutes for Exeter's 1-1 draw against Wycombe.
Meanwhile, David Button's triple save denied Notts County for a short while before they got the better of Crewe, 2-0 at Meadow Lane.
