Wigan will once again be without the injured Maynor Figueroa as they travel to face Tottenham Hotspur.

The left back is struggling with a knee problem so former Tottenham left back Erik Edman will continue to deputise.

The Latics will assess Hendry Thomas's fitness levels after the Honduran missed his flight back from international duty and only returned to England today.

Tottenham will welcome back winger Aaron Lennon for the clash with Wigan Athletic.

The England international has recovered from an ankle injury in time to face the Latics.

Centre back Sebastien Bassong is back in contention after shaking off a hamstring injury.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is boosted by the return of Luka Modric (broken leg) although the Croatian is not yet match fit.
