Quarterback Aaron Rodgers limited in practice with right shoulder injury

QB Aaron RodgersPackers QB Aaron Rodgers was limited in practice Wednesday due to a right shoulder injury, but the quarterback willing to to play Sunday football against the Minnesota Vikings, Rob Demovsky reports.

Rodgers has admitted that he’s banged-up at the moment. He said. “It’s Week 11 coming up, everybody is dealing with different things. You get a routine, learn how to take care of your body and push through things.”

Rodgers said,

“Missed some throws that I usually hit. We had some catches to catch balls we couldn’t catch in order to sustain drives. And then we had a couple mental errors.”

While limited practice appearances may be replicated Thursday and Friday, the two-time MVP has “no worries” about suiting up Sunday at Minnesota.

Rodgers completed 35 of 61 passes for 333 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday’s loss to Detroit. He added eight yards on the ground on two carries. He said that the Packers do not use injuries as an excuse for poor play — rather they take pride in being able to play while hurt.

Rodgers has been deposed 22 times this season and half of this dismissal come from last three games. The Packers QB hasn’t looked like himself during the team’s three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile new contributors on offense can’t stay healthy.

Receiver Jared Abbrederis had a breakout game with four catches for 57 yards against Detroit, but hurt his ribs on a 32-yard reception in the fourth quarter. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday that Abbrederis will miss “several weeks” due to a rib injury stemming from Sunday’s loss to the Lions

Packers’ country is full of injury listed in starting offensive lineman except for center Corey Linsley. Bryan Bulaga and T.J. Lang also didn’t going to practice at all on Wednesday.

The Green Bay Packers (6–3) have lost their last three consecutive games, and sit in second place in the NFC North behind Minnesota Vikings (7–2).
