San Francisco 49ers Vs Dallas Cowboys: Preview

on

The San Francisco 49ers travel to Texas on Sunday to face off against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T stadium. San Francisco is coming off of a preseason win against the Houston Texans, with a final score of 40-13. Dallas lost to the Denver Broncos 27-3 in their last preseason game. During the preseason, San Francisco fought their way to a 2-2 record. Dallas did not win any of their preseason games, ending with a 0-4 record.

San Francisco has the advantage of having a strong running game and one of the best defenses in the league. Dallas showed many defensive weaknesses in the preseason, but its offense was much stronger with several notable veterans making the most of their opportunities. If San Francisco wants to get the victory, they will need to stop the offense from moving down the field and capitalize on the mistakes made by the defense.

Last season, Dallas was ranked as having the worst defense in the NFL. With their defense allowing an average of nearly 400 yards per game, their only hope of winning games rested in the hands of quarterback Tony Romo, wide receiver Dez Bryant, and the rest of the offense. If Dallas wants to win on Sunday, they cannot allow their offense to be neutralized by San Francisco’s defense.

The 49ers will be playing without center Marcus Martin in the game against the Cowboys. Martin is scheduled to miss the first six weeks of the season due to a knee injury suffered in the preseason. Wide receiver Michael Crabtree is questionable for Sunday due to an injury to his calf.

Cowboys’ defensive end Anthony Spencer and offensive tackle Darrion Weems won’t play on Sunday. Weems is recovering from a weight room accident that resulted in a chest injury. Wide receiver Terrance Williams remains questionable for Sunday after a back injury held him out of practice on Thursday.

Latest Line – The San Francisco 49ers are favored to win by 5 points.

The San Francisco team has all of the tools they need to beat Dallas handily on Sunday.
