Southeastern Louisiana vs Tulane Preview

on

TulaneThe Southeastern Louisiana Lions are set to travel to Yulman Stadiums to take on the Tulane Green Wave in a game that features the Lions, who are seeking their 3rd win on the year, while the Green Wave are still seeking their 1st.

The Lions are coming into this game having won last week in a contest against the Southern Utah Thunderbirds by the score of 41-14, as they play out of the Southland conference of the FCS subdivision. The Green Wave are coming off of a loss last week at home against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, who beat the wave handily, 38-21 in their home opener.

The Lions are looking to continue their strong early season by adding a 3rd win to the their total in their 1st game on the road. This match is certainly one of their tougher matchups in the early season as they are set to take on Tulane who play within the FBS subdvision, rather than the FCS that the team is used to taking a part in.

The Green Wave are coming into this contest looking to finally earn their 1st win on the season, and send their fans home happy after they lost their home opener last week against the Yellow Jackets. If the Wave hope to come out victorious, which they should considering their FCS level opponent, they will have to perform well on both offense and defense in the match.

The Wave will have a tough match on Saturday despite the perceived lower level of their competition. The Lions have won both of their games this season by comfortable margins, and I think they will get it done on the road, upsetting the Wave. The Lions earn this win 21-17.
