In week 3 the UC Davis Aggies (1-1 overall) travel to Hughes Stadium in Fort Collins, Colorado to face the Colorado State Rams (1-1 overall) Saturday.

UC Davis beat Fort Lewis last week 52-17. The Aggies were led by London Lacy with 171 passing yards and 2 TDs. In addition, Jermale Jefferson led the rushing attack with 122 rushing yards and 2 TDs on 5 carries. Corey Galindo led the wide receivers with 6 receptions for 134 yards and 3 TDs.

Colorado State lost to Boise State last week 37-24. The Rams were led by quarterback Garrett Greyson who had 134 to passing yards and three TDs but also threw 2 interceptions. Joe Hansley led the wide receivers with 149 receiving yards and 1 TD.

The Rams defense allowed 676 yards and 37 points last week. However, they did have 1 interception. In addition, they also had 2 sacks.

Keys to UC Davis win

UC Davis will have to have London Lacy play a great game and not turn the ball over. In addition, Jermale Jefferson will need to have a great game as well.

Keys to Colorado State win

The Colorado State Rams will need Garrett Greyson to play the game and not throw any interceptions. In addition, the Rams will need wide receiver Joe Hansley to get open and help his quarterback.

Colorado State should win Saturday. However, they will need Garrett Greyson to play well and not turn the ball over. They will also need to get the running game involve a bit more. The Rams defense needs to improve their defense and force some turnovers.
