Watch NFL Live, Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers

on

Will Johnny Manziel play this weekend or will he watch from the sideline.  Brian Hoyer will start for the Cleveland Browns when they travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers.  New Browns head coach Mike Pettine named Hoyer  couple of weeks ago, however most of the NFL watching public and experts expect Manziel  to get some playing time this weekend.

“This is Brian’s job,” Pettine said. “I never think of it whether it’s a leash or we want a guy to be a game manager. We want him to be confident and go out and play.”  In fact the Steelers expect him to play.

“They didn’t draft him in the first round to watch,” coach Mike Tomlin said.

Cleveland has had more than their share of distraction this preseason with wide receiver Josh Gordon suspended last week by the NFL in addition to all the hoopla that adding Manziel  to the team brought.

Defensively Cleveland brings a blitz heavy style.

Speedy rookie linebacker Ryan Shazier will start in the middle, second-round pick Stephon Tuitt will see plenty of time on the defensive line, Mike Mitchell will replace veteran safety Ryan Clark and pricey linebacker LaMarr Woodley was released.

The Steelers will enter their eight season with Tomlin as the coach and veteran Ben Roethlisberger will guide a Pittsburgh offense that went to two Super Bowls from 2008-11.  however the last two years the Steelers have failed to make the playoffs finishing 500 and most seasons.

Roethlisberger will throw to Lance Moore as this feature receiver. Running backs Le’Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount were arrested — and Bell charged with a DUI — after their car was stopped and a bag of marijuana was found a day before their preseason game against Philadelphia.

The Steelers are probably a little bit too much for the Browns at this point but the game is worth watching just to see if  Johnny Football gets to play
