Dallas Cowboys NFL Football Game Preview

The Dallas Cowboys head to Tennessee on Sunday to face off against the Tennessee Titans at LP Field. Last week, the Dallas Cowboys suffered a devastating loss to the San Francisco 49ers, ending with a score of 28-17. The Titans beat their opponents last week, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 26-10. The Cowboys start week two with a record of 0-1. The Titans come into the game 1-0 for the regular season.

The Cowboys’ defense is going to be their weak spot in the game against the Titans. Last season, the Cowboys allowed an average of 415.3 yards per game, a league high. They have to stop the Titans short and capitalize on turnovers to have a chance on Sunday. Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo had a lot of difficulties with accuracy in the season opener. If he cannot tighten up his game and hit his marks, the Titans will exploit his mistakes and take the win.

With quarterback Jake Locker healthy, the Titans have a much better chance of beating the Cowboys. The offense is skilled at retaining possession of the ball and their run game has proven effective against previous opponents. If the defense can capitalize on the Cowboys’ offensive mistakes, the Titans will literally run away with the game.

On Sunday, the Cowboys will be playing without T Darrion Weems, who is out with a shoulder injury and DE Anthony Spencer, who is recovering from a knee injury. DE Demarcus Lawrence has been placed on the injured reserve list with a broken right foot, along with LB Orie Lemon and DT Zach Minter. Cowboys’ NT Josh Brent is serving a suspension and will not be returning until week 12 at the earliest.

The Titans have lost LB Zach Brown for the rest of the season due to a torn pectoral muscle. They will also be playing without DT Antonio Johnson, who is on the injured reserve list with a knee injury.

Latest Line – The Titans are favored to win by 3.

The Cowboys are expected to put up a fight to avoid starting the regular season 0-2, but the Titans superior offense and defense will make it unlikely that the Cowboys will come away with the win.
