Indianapolis Colts Vs Denver Broncos: Preview

The Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos will fight it out on Sunday at the Sports Authority Field at Mile High in their first game of the regular season. The Broncos beat the Dallas Cowboys in their final game of the preseason, scoring 27-3. The Colts faced the Cincinnati Bengals and lost 35-7. The Broncos were 3-1 in the preseason. The Colts lost all of their preseason games, ending 0-4.

For the Colts to win on Sunday, they must find a way to keep moving the ball down the field through the Bronco’s defense. Quarterback Andrew Luck will be pressured from all angles at all times if the Broncos have their way. An accurate pass game and receivers that move quickly are the keys to a Colts’ victory.

The Broncos have plenty of receiving talent for veteran quarterback Peyton Manning to choose from during the game. When facing his former teammates, Manning will have to have a great pass game to come out on top. Manning is capable of delivering and if the Broncos’ defense is able to hold the Colts to short gains, the Broncos will come out on top.

Colts’ T Joe Reitz is out for Sunday’s game due to an ankle injury. Colts’ LB Erik Walden, S Sergio Brown, and C Khaled Holmes are listed as questionable for Sunday.

When they take the field on Sunday, the Broncos will be missing G Ben Garland due to an ankle injury suffered in the preseason. Also missing will be LB Danny Trevathan, who is recovering from an injury to his knee. Broncos’ star slot receiver Wes Welker and kicker Matt Prater will not be playing in the first four games of the season due to suspensions.

Latest Line – The Broncos are favored to win by 8.

The Colts will not be able to stop the Bronco’s offense and the Broncos will capitalize on every mistake the Colts make to earn the win.
