The Indianapolis Colts finished their 2013 season at 11-5 overall and 6-0 in AFC South. The Indianapolis Colts were led by quarterback Andrew Luck with 3822 passing yards and 23 TDs. In addition, T.Y. Hilton led the receivers with 1083 yards and 5 TDs.

Denver finished with 2013 season at 13-3 overall and 5-1 in the AFC West. The Broncos were led by quarterback Peyton Manning with 5477 passing yards and 55 TDs both of which broke NFL records. Demaryius Thomas led the Broncos wide receivers with 1430 yards and 14 TDs. Peyton Manning has two less targets to throw to with Decker gone to the NY Jets and Wes Welker suspended for four games.

The Broncos defense was ranked 19th in 2013 but with the acquisition of DeMarcus Ware and cornerback Aqib Talib they should improve. The Broncos were led by Danny Trevathan with 88 solo tackles and 129 total tackles. Trevathan also lead the Broncos with 3 interceptions.

Indianapolis will need Andrew Luck to play mistake free football. With the acquisition of Hakeen Nicks and Reggie Wayne returning, Luck will have better receivers to throw to.

Keys to Denver win

Denver will need Manning to do what he does best, mix many passes with timely running plays. The Broncos defense must bend but not break under the pressure of the strong Colts offense.
