Miami (OH) vs Buffalo Preview


In week 5 the Miami (OH) RedHawks head to University of Buffalo Stadium in Buffalo, New York to face the Buffalo Bulls Saturday. The RedHawks are 0-4 SU and 3-1 ATS. The Bulls are 2-2 SU and 1-3 ATS.

Miami (OH) is coming off a loss of 31-24 against Cincinnati last week. Quarterback Andrew Hendrix who has 1104 passing yards and 7 touchdowns leads the offense this season. Spencer McInnis leads the rushing game with 114 yards on 26 carries and a 4.4 yards per carry average. David Frazier leads the wide receivers with 429 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The RedHawks defense through week 4 has allowed 31 points per game and 385 yards per game.

Buffalo is coming off a win of 36-7 against Norfolk State last week. Quarterback Joe Licata who has 1099 passing yards and 12 touchdowns leads the offense this season.  Anthone Taylor leads the rushing game with 357 yards, 3 touchdowns and a 4.1 yards per carry average. Ron Willoughby leads the wide receivers with 286 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Buffalo has one of the worst defenses in the country allowing 36.3 points per game and 434 yards per game through week 4.

Keys to Miami (OH) win

Miami will have to shut down quarterback Joe Licata and in order to do that they will have to bring pressure. In addition, the RedHawks will need their running backs to get more involved.

Keys to Buffalo win

Buffalo will have to stop quarterback Andrew Hendrix. In addition, the Bulls defense will have to improve and play much better than they have been this season.

This will be a close game. However, Buffalo’s quarterback Joe Licata will play a strong game and the Bulls defense will hold Miami’s score down low enough to get the win. The Bulls will improve to 3-2 on the season.
