The Volunteers come into this week having beaten the Arkansas State Red Wolves by the score of 34-19 at home, and this game is set to be their 1st contest on the road this year. The Oklahoma Sooners are coming into this game having beaten the Tulsa Golden Hurricane by a lopsided score of 52-7 on the road, but they return home this week seeking a victory.

The Volunteers are coming into Memorial Stadium in search of a major upset, as beating the number 4 team in the country will be a major resume builder for a Volunteers team that is trying to earn a strong reputation within the tough South Eastern Conference. If the Vols want to beat the Sooners, they are going to need to bring their absolute best to Norman if they are going to stand a chance. The Volunteers will have to put up a strong offensive performance if they want to beat the Sooners.

On the other hand, the Sooners are looking to maintain their undefeated record and keep themselves firmly in the discussion for earning a place within the College Football Playoff. In order to beat the the Volunteers, the Sooners are going to need to put up a strong offensive and defensive performance.

The game between the 2 won’t be as one sided as a lot of people are predicting it will be, but it won’t be close either, the Sooners are going to pull off the victory in decisive fashion. The Sooners stay undefeated at home this week, beating the Volunteers, 42-24.
